On 4th, March 2010, CapitalBio officially joined the Roche NimbelGen Certified Service Provider Program and was certified to provide services including NimbleGen Gene Expression, Comparative Genomic Hybridization/Copy Number Variation (CGH/CNV), and DNA Methylation based on Roche NimbleGen platform. CapitalBio is the first NimbleGen CSP in China to provide such microarray services.
On 27th Nov, 2009, “Oscar Award” in industrial design, China Red Star Design was given to two CapitalBio’s products, namely SmartArrayer 48 microarray spotter and RT-Cycler Real Time PCR, by China Red Star Design Award Committee.
In Dec, 2009, CapitalBio was accredited as one of first batch pilot innovation companies by People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Ministry of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
On 28th Dec, 2009, CapitalBio’s first Independent Clinical Laboratory (ICL) was established in Chengdu Wenjiang International Medical Town in Sichuan. Vice Mayor of Chengdu, Yonglin Fu, Vice Chancellor of Sichuan University, Yuquan Wei, Director of IV clinical center in Ministry of Health, Ziyu shen attended the opening ceremony.
